The highs and lows of life continue.
The highs: Julie and I met up with a bunch of friends last night to relax and play in another free Badger Poker tournament. Julie was eliminated after the first hour or so, and ended up playing a side game and made her first win. I ended up heads up with Nick, who has four tournament wins, and after maybe 20 hands of heads up My QsKs held up to give me the win for the night.
About four hours after that while we were sleeping my grandmother passed. Pat, who is one of our favorite hospice care workers was there, and it sounds like my mom was with her at the time. I got the call at 5:25 this morning, which was 5 minutes before my alarm was set to go off, so I was a bit fuzzy for the call. But it sounds like she was comfortable and wasn't in pain, which is about the best you can ask for. She was always a very important part of my life, and I'll miss her terribly, but I'm glad to know that she's in a better place and is comfortable.

Very sorry to hear about Grandma.
Keep me posted.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Thanks John. We'll be in Milwaukee on Thursday. The visitation and service will be on Friday, and the burial will be in Green Bay on Saturday. That's about all that I know for now.
Thanks for the info.
I will be there for the visitation and service.
