Alright. Let's try this again. I've been thinking about adding to this for a while, but to be honest I didn't really want to while things weren't going well. So, it's only been 6 months since the last official update, so here's everything that's happened in a nutshell:

Shortly after the last post we found out that the cancer was way too strong and aggressive, and a few days after that mom passed away. It's been tough dealing with it, but dad and I have become much closer and that helps a lot. Julie has been just great with the support too.

And helping out a lot with that is having our daughter here! Renee Margaret Erdmann was born January 13 at 12:49AM. She weighed in at 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long. Babies usually lose weight after they are born, and they expect them to be back at their birth weight by two weeks...well, Renee is already growing like a weed, and under one week she weighed in at 6 lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long! I've got some pictures of Renee and various friends up here.

I've been spending a lot of time online lately playing City of Heroes and City of Villains. It's a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) where you are a super hero (or villain) in a place called Paragon City. I'm a member of a really great Super Group called The Dawn Patrol. If you play, I'm on the Virtue server, and my global handle is @Sensei Sato. Sato is my first serious hero, and he's a lot of fun to play.

Still playing plenty of poker. I play online at Ultimate Bet, and live with some friends and still at Badger Poker. I'll be playing in a satelite for an early World Series of Poker event, thanks to Scott at Badger Poker. It's nowhere near the main event, but it's still a shot for someone from Madison to go for a bracelet, which is really cool.

Going to leave it at that for now. Maybe if I don't feel the need to make such huge updates I'll get posts up on this more often. Right now going to aim for once a week unless something really cool/funny/important comes up. We'll see how it goes... 8-)
